Irish setter on cover of huntingdogs mag

A last spring training session 2010 provided the cover of the Dutch bi-monthly hunting dogs magazine De Jachthond (The Hunting Dog). Pictured is Irish-American bred Giulla Redskin O'Conloch (Echlin O'Conloch x Redwing White Lightning).

The mag brings five pages with many pictures on working Irish setters (red and red &white) in the Netherlands. A profile is dedicated to under more two European top performers: Dutch bred, Irish owned IFTCH Pallas Green Harriet (r&w) and French top dog Urtis de la Chaume di Rigaut (red), topping EC and WC. They are close relatives.

There are interviews with prominent field-trialers under whom Jan Nooijen, who trialed pointers and Gordon setters to top levels in European and world championships. He will now try to get the red setters on top as well.
For ordering a mag contact the publishing company at http://www.dejachthond.nl
Next edition of De Jachthond will focus under more on the National Bird Dog Museum in Tennessee, USA.
